Jay Utility Authority contracts with an outside waste management company (CARDS Recycling) for solid waste collection. Everyone within the city limits of Jay is required to have garbage collection.

All regular household trash and debris, must be bagged and placed curbside by 6 am on your assigned collection day.  Bags do not have to be in a trash can, however if animals get into them, it is your responsibility to pick the trash up.  If assistance is needed or you have questions, please contact our office.
